This is Love Letter, a card game about trying to get your love letter to the princess and win her hand. It gets consistently good reviews on boardgamegeek and also lots of personal recommendations.
We haven’t played it yet, but we have got our copy. It comes in a lovely red velvet pouch. There isn’t a lot to it at all. The game is made up of only 16 cards!
A lovely bunch of packages arrived for me with a whole load of add-on packs for Android Netrunner.
I now have the full set of six data packs in the Genesis cycle, and five out of the six data packs in the Spin cycle (get it?).
These are the usual Living Card Game add-ons with fixed sets of cards, so you know what you are getting. There is none of the ‘random boosters’ rubbish you get in Magic.
I got an early Christmas present of Eldritch Horror, the new game from the Fantasy Flight Games Arkham Horror stable. It is AH on a global scale with streamlined, story-driven rules.
